As the daughter of a certified public accountant, Nikki grew up in public accounting and began working for her father's firm at an early age.  As the founder and current managing member of Douglass-Harmon, CPA, LLC, Nikki Harmon provides valuable assistance and advice to both our firm clients and other members of the firm. 

Nikki is responsible for overseeing the firm operations and is the head of our business services division.  She has the unique distinction of being dully licensed in the fields of tax, accounting and financial services.  She offers her clients high level strategies which meld her expertise as both a certified public accountant and that of a wealth management specialist.  Nikki prides herself in being a strategic thinker and likes to problem solve. 

Nikki specializes in business services for closely held companies, in addition to personal and estate tax & wealth management planning.  She uses her experience with income taxes to help clients develop holistic tax and wealth management plans that allow them to realize their dreams often times faster than they believed they could.  Working on long range strategic plans is perhaps Nikki's greatest enjoyment when working with clients.  She provides a great number of value added services to her clients and regularly challenges them to think outside the box when approaching the future of their businesses.  She can help your business develop a long range cash flow plan, customize a tax strategy specific to your needs and circumstances or help you prepare for retirement and the succession of your business to the next generation of owner. 

On her days off, Nikki likes to spend time with her husband and two sons.  She enjoys spending time outside, going to the beach, white water rafting, and crafting.

Paul M. Harmon

Partner

Computer Systems Administrator

Information Specialist

Paul has been with the firm since 1997.  After previously working for a large national healthcare provider, in 2009, Paul transitioned out of his roll as a specialty programmer in the company's network & IT division and into his position as a full-time system administrator for Douglass-Harmon, CPA, LLC.  Since that time he has been responsible for overseeing our internal IT systems and security. Additionally, Paul is keen on working with clients to develop solutions for special issues and challenges they may be facing with technology.  He designs custom computer systems, small networks and provides systems trouble shooting as well as general computer consulting services.  Paul enjoys guiding river rafting trips, watching college football and all types of basketball, and has even been known to shoot a few hoops of his own from time to time.

George C. Douglass, CPA

Certified Public Accountant

As the founder of our predecessor firm, George has been a key part of our organization since 1975.  An experienced Certified Public Accountant his holster comes loaded with a full array of professional experiences in his background.  George has expertise as a tax preparer, auditor, small business advisor, tax planner, and general accountant.  Over the years he has served a wide range of industries including contractors, not-for-profit organizations, farmers, ministers, closely held corporations/partnerships, and municipalities. Currently he specializes in the area of tax services.  George regularly works to fulfill our client's needs in the areas of tax preparation, tax planning, and tax representation matters. As a lead accountant in our Tax Services Division, George has often been referred to as the "go to guy" for our newer staff members when they have a complex tax issue in which they need assistance or direction.  An avid outdoorsmen George enjoys spending his out of the office hours in nature exploring the rich natural beauty of the northwest and other areas of our country.  When you look at a map, if there is a place that is home to a national park George has probably been there or it is on his wish list of places to visit.

Donna L. Douglass, EA, LTC, CFP

Certified Financial Planner

Donna is a graduate of The University of Oregon and has been a long standing member of our staff.  Donna is currently tax, insurance, and financial services licensed.  She is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.  She brings a wide breadth of knowledge and experience to her client engagements. She works primarily with individuals who seek to have a high level of synergy between their tax and wealth management plans.  

When not at work, Donna finds great pleasure in directing a local handbell choir and has played for multiple choirs including a marching handbell choir.  She has 4 children and 8 grandchildren which keep her on her toes.
